Fellow Hospitality and Squad developed an integrated concept for the lobby bar, hotel, and rooftop—rooted in the architectural, historical, and cultural essence of the building and its downtown surroundings. Our challenge was to restore this architectural gem to its former glory while introducing a distinctive hotel brand and experience to the city.

Hotel, hospitality and brand experience concept by Fellow Hospitality and Squad, launching in 2026. This precinct is a 15-storey, five-star hotel at 70 Merivale Street, South Brisbane, featuring 137 luxury rooms, elevated lobby experience, and a rooftop restaurant offering panoramic views of Brisbane’s skyline and Musgrave Park. The rooftop decks house a wellness centre, infinity pool, gym, and spa, creating a luxurious urban retreat in the heart of the city.
